AEHT European Conference
This international conference and competition takes place annually in a different European country and welcomes around 1,100 students, teachers, jury members, and school directors. Over five days, students from hospitality and tourism schools across various countries compete in 14 disciplines, including restaurant and kitchen techniques, hotel management, bakery, and tourism. The 450 participants from 24 countries are randomly paired with students from other nations, making collaboration in English a key component of the competition.
The setup of the conference is not solely about competition and winning, but above all about European cooperation and intercultural exchange. This event brings together young people (aged 17–18) from 150 schools in 44 countries, thereby fostering international connections and encouraging professional growth.
