In 2027, AEHT Belgium vzw will host the 40th annual AEHT European Conference in Antwerp.
AEHT Belgium vzw is the Belgian branch of the Association Européenne des Écoles d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme (AEHT), a European network connecting hospitality and tourism schools from over 40 countries. The organization promotes collaboration, knowledge exchange, and professional development within hospitality, tourism, and culinary education.
This international conference and competition will take place from 22 to 27 November 2027, welcoming approximately 1,100 students, teachers, jury members, and directors. Over five days, students from hospitality and tourism schools across Europe will compete in 14 disciplines, including restaurant and culinary techniques, hotel management, baking, and tourism. The 440 participants from 24 countries will be randomly paired with students from other countries, making collaboration in English an essential part of the competition.
The conference is not only about competition and achievement but also emphasizes European cooperation and intercultural exchange. It brings together young people from 150 schools in 44 countries, fostering international connections and professional development.
